As the unity of the city, nature is a significant aspect over time and space. For a long time, Magelang valley grew up because of the nature and the geographic location. Magelang is chosen as the important function in each period because of it. Todays, the economic growth change Magelang as the one of the small city into small economic city to support the other city. Economic aspect is more dominant than nature and environmental aspects. Economic aspect, especially after 1980, replaces nature as the second aspect to manage the city as the transit and services city. Master plan of the city has no consideration about the nature. Nature was left by the people.
